For as long as I can remember, I've LOVED art. Yet somehow, until recently, I hadn't considered making a career out of being an artist. I simply cannot steer my creativity into one more sort-of-creative outlet. I need a real outlet. So, with the support of my lovely family and friends I made the choice a few months ago to forgo a career in advertising and pursue my Master's in Art Education. And all of a sudden, everything fell into place. I found a graduate assistantship at Mizzou doing study abroad marketing (traveling is one of my other passions in life :D ) and shortly after landed the position. I guess you could say fate stepped in. And I'm so happy that it did. :)
I haven't decided exactly what I will post in this space, but for now I have no limits. You may find what I've doodled onto a napkin that day, or even the junk I found at a garage sale last Saturday and how I turned it into an awesome addition to my bedroom. Only time will tell!
Oh... And! To build up a following on my blog I will be doing giveaways every now and then. So look out for them! x
